All-In-One GPS Tracking Platform & Fleet Management System

Granit GPS Tracker Series: Technical Port 5112 Integration

The Granit protocol is a specialized communication standard primarily used via Port 5112 for telematics data. Whether you are using the compact C-100 or the rugged WP-30C, correct hardware wiring and software configuration are vital for real-time tracking accuracy.

4. Troubleshooting: Fix “Offline” Status

  • Check SIM Credit/Data: Ensure the M2M SIM has an active data plan. Many “offline” issues are simply expired balance.
  • Validate GPRS Status: Send GPRS123456 to ensure the internet connection is active.
  • Check Signal Strength: Use the check123456 command. If the signal is below 15, relocate the antenna away from metal obstructions.
  • Verify Port Openings: Ensure your server firewall has TCP/UDP Port 5112 open. Use a tool like Packet Sender to verify communication.
  • LED Diagnostics:
    • Flashing Green: Searching for GSM signal.
    • Steady Green: Logged into GPRS network.
    • Flashing Blue: Searching for GPS satellites (Move outdoors).
  • Hard Reset: If the unit is frozen, send reset123456 or cycle the power physically.
Pro Tip: For WP-30C models used in marine or heavy rain environments, ensure the wiring harness entry point is facing downward to prevent water ingress via capillary action along the cables.
