Supported GPS Devices
iOS and Android Devices
These devices use Osmand protocol and port number is 5055. This protocol was originally used by the OsmAnd mobile app. It was later adopted and extended to be used by our official Client Mobile App. Some older versions of Client App use a custom NMEA-based protocol.
Server Parameters for Supported GPS Devices
If you are using Client App (iOS or Android), the port is always 5055.
The GPS Tracking TR Server URL for the Client App or any other GPS devices is:

You must enter the URL and port information correctly on your supported device. For example:
• http://166.1.91.232:5055 (Android and iOS based devices)
• http://166.1.91.232:5004 (GV500-GL200 protocol-port 5004)
• http://166.1.91.232:5027 (FM1010-Teltonika protocol-port 5027)

Manager Mobile App
Manager App is a mobile application to manage GPS tracking devices. It requires a GPS Tracking TR server instance to work. By default, the application is configured to use a demo server. Manager Mobile App shows the server selection screen only on the first start. You should use the same URL you use to connect to the web app. To change the server address later, you have to re-install the app (iOS) or clear app settings from the application manager (Android).
Client Mobile App
By default, the apps are configured to use a demo server. To track your device using a demo server visit demo.traccar.org and add your device with the unique identifier you see in the app. Client Mobile App is fully compatible with GPS Tracking TR Server. Other popular GPS tracking platforms also fully support GPS Client App.
Chinese Clones
If you own a GPS tracking unit made in China, please read following information. Different manufacturers and sellers brand their devices under similar popular names (e.g. TK102, TK103, GT02A, H02 and other), so it is impossible to identify the correct port and protocol for those devices just by the model name. Please carefully try all of the following common ports first:

1. Device sends status information, but not GPS coordinates. Usually it happens with devices that use GPS103 protocol (port 5001). The solution is to send a command to the device to activate location reporting: fix060s***n123456 (where 060s is the interval between messages, *** tells the device to continue sending locations periodically and 123456 is the default password).
2. Devices that use TK103 protocol (port 5002) send a 12-digit device identifier instead of IMEI. Usually it consists of 11 last digits from IMEI plus a leading zero. For example, if IMEI number is 123456789012345, the unique id would be 056789012345. The easiest solution is to register two devices, one with the full IMEI and the other one with the 12-digit identifier.
